My Thoughts

Review covers 18 chapters

I'm back with my tragic manga/manhwas. In essence, I should have reviewed this title back in February 2015. But I got distracted by other things and once I finally got to it, I had to read it so it would be fresh in my mind. I didn't cry this time, as I already knew what would happen, but the expectation of it to end better was still nagging me.

As I have already mentioned the story is part of my tragedy stories list, therefore, if you have yet to read it, grab some tissues and a blanket and get ready for 2 hours of awesomeness. I remember before I started reading the story; based on the summary I thought the protagonist would be the girl Sunil, however, even though she is the main character she doesn't appear all that often. Most of the times we follow Kai, a character that would make you ask the question if he was all right or not. Don't get me wrong, the story starts like any other or pretty much like any other. Two friends fall in love with one girl, but their friendship is compromised because one and that is Kai gets the girl faster, without telling his best friend Spike. And now you'll think: Ah, it's your normal shoujo, huh... Sorry, but you'll be disappointed, as there is nothing shoujo like ...

I believe I will be focusing the review on Kai, so let me introduce him normally. he's your normal 17-year old, who is from a good family who loves him a lot. He's an Asian with white skin, blond hair and blue eyes, a real playboy who does everything for amusement. One day he gets an interest in Sunil, his classmate, and starts dating her, and that's where our story starts. or pretty much. How to best describe Kai, he's bored. He wanted to become a gangster so one day he is offered a job to kill someone in exchange for a favour he was given. He accepts and after that, he becomes the mercenary. His idea of life and death is fascinating and I believe once you read the story you'll think that he was not sane. even after two times of reading the story I can't really say if he truly loved Sunil, or was just having fun. There are a lot of moments where it clearly shows that he cared a lot for her, but the way they broke up was too much. But then again, the reason he broke their relationship was that he could not make Sunil happy anymore. I could actually understand his motive, he was tired of everything and he knew that he could never become the person who could make anyone happy.

Are you ready to get to know Kai and other characters? Are you ready to see the life of a bored teenager? Enjoy it, but try to make the same mistakes. don't forget to share your thoughts below1 Stay tuned for more reviews as well as promos! Don't miss your next favourite book or manga! Happy reading!
