Summary
Modern-day woman Geunyoung Lee struggles to make ends meet working as a lowly reporter for a magazine. She lives with a friend and barely scratches out her rent every month. On the other hand, male sex symbol Joon Hoo currently rides on top of the world. His movies become instant hits. Corporations clamber all over each other to pay for his product endorsements. Women adore him. His public image stays squeaky clean...that is, until one night he runs into Geunyoung at a club. Lee accidentally snaps a photo of Joon dumping a heartbroken young girl. He suddenly goes nuclear trying to protect his image, forcing Lee's magazine to fire her. Now, despite losing her job and apartment, the intrepid young woman has taken on a new mission in life: Destroy Joon Hoo at all costs.
My Thoughts
Review covers 22 chapters
Another great work from Wann. I have already covered Can’t Lose you, though I have yet to write 100% Perfect Girl, however, this was the title that started my Wann-reading marathon. Initially, I already knew the author by 100% perfect Girl as well as Heart to Give, but somehow I missed all of her other works. Unbelievable? Yup, quite so…
However, let me get back to the story. Initially, it ended up on my reading list due to some manhwas that I was reading; I started it and was sucked into it right away, only finding out that it was Wann’s work after I read the final chapter.
Let me briefly explain what is going on in the story! Meet Lee, a journalist whose life is not going oh so well, but that’s going to change ti even worse. How so? She walks on a scene with the Sex Symbol of every woman Joon Hoo. You might wonder why is that such a bad thing. Well, the once that Lee had witnessed didn’t really fit into his public image. But that’s not all, next day Lee is fired from her job and is told that it’s Joon Hoo’s fault. That’s how her anti-fan life began!
You’re wondering how the title comes into it and maybe romance? Well, hold your horses, everything will come in time, you just need to open the first volume and get lost in this amazing, full of humour and at the same time very realistic story! Enjoy it to your heart’s content and don’t forget to share your thoughts below! Stay tuned for more reviews as well as promos. Don’t miss your next favourite book or manga! Happy reading!
XOXO

Hi! I don't know if you could still read this. If you happen to read this comment, may I ask where have you read the complete English translated chapters of the first version of So I Married an Anti-Fan (by Wann)? Can you share the website?
