Review covers 24 chapters

Do you remember my early January edition? Yes, about Edo Japan, so today I’m continuing with that topic and covering another fabulous manga about Red Lights district in Edo period Japan. The only similarities to Yoshiwara Hana Oboro are the setting, nothing else. We don’t have time-travel and to say the truth this story was getting boring in some parts and I had a hard time finishing it. However, I finished it and liked it in a way.

The story as I have already mentioned takes place in Edo period Japan. Our heroine is aiming to be a high-class prostitute aka geisha and everything would have been well if not for her elder sister or mentor being a male and to make things worse, he is her first love. Oh, yes there are tons of fun moments because of that, especially a lot of misunderstandings as well as forbidden love between those two. There will be many obstacles on their way and you would not want to miss any of them. The last 2 volumes are especially heightened as many secrets are unveiled and some will surely shock you.

Are you ready to plunge into this fun and interesting story? The drawing is really fabulous and that’s one of the reasons I kept reading. You will especially love the parts when there are Geishas walking in the street. Enjoy it to its fullest and don’t forget to share your thoughts below! Stay tuned for more reviews as well as promos. Don’t miss your next favourite book or manga! Happy reading!

XOXO
