To be honest, I had huge hopes for this book. Why? Because it was about the psychotic twin (or at least that's what it seemed like back when I was reading Toxic). So, when I didn't get the promised psycho, I was a bit disappointed.

But at the end of the day, I did like the book, because it was a great continuation of the story, and I loved how the story went between Cara and Gianni. But then again, I was looking forward to more DBSM, there was such great potential there, but it just didn't hit like I hoped it would.

Now as for characters, Cara pissed me off in a beginning way too much. Her: "I'm going to be strong!" But as soon as Gianni came into the picture, her resolve just disappeared. I get that they had history, but a bit more resolve on her side would have been so much more interesting!

As for Gianni, where's my arc of grovelling? because I LOVE grovelling, and I didn't get much of it here, while there was so much he could have grovelled for.

But it still was a great ready, plus it did have a darker twist when Tully showed the basement!

So, if you've been waiting for Gianni's story! Grab your copy now! because it's one hell of a ride!
