Due to commitment issues I have lived in many different cities and my favorite is Chicago but I have managed to settle into Austin and perhaps my commitment issues are behind me. 

I have enjoyed reading from a very young age and it wasn't long before the children books bored me and I read the books my mother enjoyed Stephen King and Dean Koontz and I didn't sleep without the light on until I was about ten. 

I came across my first Harlequin by accident and it was love at first read, no one died and happy endings? It was a whole new world and I loved it. 

I wrote my first story at eight and everyone died, of course. Since then I would like to think I've gotten better and now I'm writing the happily ever afters I first fell in love with, with some hot sex thrown in along the way. 

As a plus size woman myself, I have started writing the stories I always wanted to see myself in but never did. And now I’m ecstatic to give BBWs the happily ever afters with hot Alphas I want to read.

I guess it’s a mafia romance month for me 😅 I’ve been reading way too much mafia romance this month. But am I going to stop? Hell no! As there’s Irish mafia romance book that is on the TBR.

But let’s get into the book, shall we? I started with being confused as hell, then somewhere in the middle I loved the book, and somewhere at the end like after 80% i got disappointed in it. The icing on the top was that the book was missing the epilogue (I was reading an ARC, and at the end, it mentioned that if I wanted to read the epilogue I should just purchase the book when it’s available - 31.05). Well then, if it didn’t disappoint me towards the end I would have been clicking pre-order right now. But well it did, so now I’m just wondering whether or not I actually want to read the epilogue, even though I can guess how it will pan out.

Okay, enough with my rant. Let’s get back to the actual book. In the beginning, I liked Milos’s and Celia’s dynamics. But then Milos started to piss me off, and when he did what he did somewhere around the end of the book, I completely lost faith in him or his motives! I mean, man! You can control yourself now, can’t you? Who asked you to go and (view spoiler)[rape (hide spoiler)] your own wife???

And Celia! For hell’s sake! Grow some balls!!! Don’t let the man walk all over you! And don’t effing justify or forgive what the man did to you!! There should have been a whole chapter on Milos grovelling and asking for forgiveness for everything he did!

Don’t get me wrong! It’s a good book, and I really loved it until it hit around 75-80% that’s when everything went to hell, and I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to read anymore or not.

Oh My God!!!!! This was sooo good!!!!! Ready for a new series of mafia romance? Because you should be, as this series is fantastic! There's only the first book out, and a side story as part of an anthology.

Are you ready to meet new characters? New amazing characters? and see the world that SR Jones brings in this new series? ready to unravel the world of Club V (or Club Volkov)? Ready to listen to some secrets of UK Elite? (we don't get much in this book, I hope as well we will get so much more in the next books!).

I loved Nikolai and Sienna. But Nikolai was my favourite. He was exuding Daddy energy all the time and I was swooning, and I guess not only me, but Sienna was also there with me. One thing that I was pissed off was Sienna's character at some times. I understood where she was coming from asking of Nikolai to love her, but girl, give me man some time, communicate with him, don't just drop a bomb on him and then run away.

But you know, all ends well that ends well, and this is a standalone, with a HEA, so grab your copy now and get sucked into the new world created by SR Jones!

Are you ready for some sunshine romance? Because don't we need a small break between dark romances and all our morally grey book boyfriends? Who am I kidding? Mine are darker than black!

This is a short read that you can just read at the beach or during your lunch break, and just enjoy the sweet romance! There's an age gap, there's love at first sight, and there's an abundance of cliche tropes, that are just fun to read.

One thing that I was fed up with was Remy constantly saying that he's a SEAL so... Is being a SEAL a part of people's personality? Like the book made it so irritating, that I wanted to smack Remy every time he used him being SEAL as an explanation for everything. Like, come on!

Another thing that I didn't like is that while the book is short, it got cut off like in the best part. I want to know how the parents took the whole situation. Like I wanted to see the confrontation between Ava and her mother. I was waiting for that!

Anyway, grab this bundle of sweet sunshine romance and enjoy it! Because it's an awesome romcom!

A dark, twisted romance that will blow your mind!

A world so dark and desperate that sometimes I wondered if I was reading about it or living in it! A.R. Breck brings the world that is so realistic, that you can feel it envelop you and the realism that she portrays (even if this is fiction) is outstanding.

This was one of those books where I wanted to crawl inside and murder some of the characters. And murder would have been so easy for them! I wanted to skin alive Raven's uncle and aunt, and torture them, and then torture them some more! (sorry, I think I'm getting sidetracked here.)

Raven - I loved her, she was an amazing character. She was strong, so strong. Life was throwing her so many obstacles and she faced them. She was getting beaten down too many times, but she was still getting up and pulling through. Let's just say that she was thrown from one fanatic to another fanatic, her childhood ruined, but this all made her a fantastic character, that I just could not not fall in love with.

The only thing I may not have liked about her was her obsession with Aria. Let's just say that I think I've read too many Chinese webnovels where the cousin is the white lotus (google it if you want to know what it means). Aria was just too shady. Her "innocence" and inability of helping Raven with anything was just so repulsive. I mean come on, for all the abuse that Raven received in that house, not once did Aria do anything correctly - like call the cops on her parents. But no, she was too into her own world to her Raven.

And now to my favourite character - Caelian. God, I loved him, I loved him too much. A rational part of me was like: I can't be in love with another killer, but my book brain was just like: Of course we can, he was made for us! (He wasn't, he was made for Raven), and I can't wait to read more about them!

Are you ready to enter the world of Raven and Caelian? But trust me, it will be a really rough ride. Sometimes you'll wonder, where is humanity. And who really is the monster in that book, is it Raven? Is it Caelian? or is it someone else? Don't miss your chance to get disappointed in humanity once again, but find solace in the monsters that are sometimes more human than we are!
