Summary:
Shadow Falls Camp is back in session with the most explosive installment yet. A shocking new threat will rock Shadow Falls—changing it forever and altering Kylie’s journey in ways she never imagined.
Even at a camp for supernatural teens, Kylie Galen has never been normal. Not only can she see ghosts, but she doesn’t seem to belong to any one species—she exhibits traits from them all. As Kylie struggles to unlock the secrets of her identity, she begins to worry that Lucas will never be able to accept her for what she is, and what she isn’t…a werewolf. With his pack standing in their way, Kylie finds herself turning more and more to Derek, the only person in her life who’s willing to accept the impossible.
As if life isn’t hard enough, she starts getting visits from the ghost of Holiday, her closest confidante. Trouble is, Holiday isn’t dead…not yet anyway. Now Kylie must race to save one of her own from an unseen danger before it’s too late—all while trying to stop her relationship with Lucas from slipping away forever. In a world of constant confusion, there’s only one thing Kylie knows for sure. Change is inevitable and all things must come to an end…maybe even her time at Shadow Falls.
The breathtaking fourth installment of the New York Times bestselling Shadow Falls series from author C. C. Hunter...Whispers at Moonrise.

My
Thoughts:
Hi
everyone and welcome back to Katie’s Corner! As promised I’m still featuring
the Shadow falls series, and hopefully until the September ends I’ll have all
the books covered so in October I can read the 3rd book Shadow
Falls: After Dark series without any delay. But let me get back to this book.
It was amazing. And it occurred to me that I have read this one only once, as
apparently I didn’t remember many details. I did remember that some of the new
characters were not all that great, but it still made as a shock to me when I
read it.
Another
thing and no matter how big of a fan I’m of Lucas, he’s one big jerk and in
this book he disappointed me so much, that I accepted all of Kylie’s choices. I
would have her gone straight into Derek’s arms, but she really did love Lucas
too much to do that. Well, let me now explain without giving too much, as I
don’t want to spoil what is going on there. We left Kylie finally finding out
what she is a chameleon, and finally in this book we get to know what it means
and she exhibits some awesome powers throughout the book. The awkward moments
are on every page; you just can’t stop laughing either on Della’s and Miranda’s
fights or on some pretty weird family issues. The best part is when in a moment
of disaster Kylie goes puff! You have to read it for yourself, just remembering
makes my tummy hurt from laughter.
Some
of our favourite characters find new powers, and one couple finally gets
together for good. Who? As if I would spoil this awesome moment. I do want to,
but if I do, I know that some of you will hate me. I don’t wan that. Well, I
guess this review is relatively small, as I’ll make the last book’s review much
more interesting. Hopefully… We do not get to see Mario, but there are some bad
people lurking and the ending just makes your heart break. Literally, I’m still
coming around as to what happened.
I
hope you’ll grab your copy now and enjoy it to its fullest don’t forget to
share your thoughts below. Stay tuned for more reviews as well as promos, so
you don’t miss your next favourite book or manga! Happy reading!
XOXO
Katie
